God called me here to finish up my masters program at Georgetown and I’m so blessed for this opportunity to be able to further my education. Besides my current academic pursuits, I’ve been babysitting for almost 8.5 years for more than 200 families. You might think that number sounds unrealistic, but I had to make money during college and I love kids! Over the years, I’ve gotten to know families of all shapes and sizes, which has been both hard and transformative. My babysitting philosophy is shaped by my large family, my faith and the idea that the way someone cares for kids shapes our society extensively.
