Jacob started to wrestle in the womb. From that moment on, his life was marked by striving—scheming, planning, working, toiling for something to satisfy his soul. Eventually he found it, but not in any of the places he first looked. His story tells us much about ourselves, much about the pursuit of satisfaction, and much about the God of grace. We all look for meaning, purpose, and worth, not realizing that, in the gospel, we’ve had them all along. In this series we explore the gospel according to Jacob; join us as we grasp for grace.
