We want teens to know and experience the gospel grace that has the power to change everything. Through biblical teaching presented in a fun, accessible environment, youth have a safe place to discover their God-given identity and learn how to live out gospel grace in their rapidly changing lives.
But did you know it takes about 50 volunteers each week to make Youth Ministries happen? That means 37 D-Group leaders, 6 Sunday School Teachers, and 5 Meal Team members for Sunday nights. Consider what your place might be serving in Student Ministries!
Description: High School and Middle School D-Groups meet each Sunday from 5–7pm at McLean Presbyterian Church. Pick a D-Group grade to spend quality time with teens eating dinner, playing games, and reading Scripture. Think of D-groups as a Community Group for youth that are age- and gender-specific. Outside of the time you spend in D-Group, we hope you will develop long-lasting relationships with 2–3 teens through regular (weekly/bi-weekly) discipleship. This can look like time spent via calls, texts, coffee, sports, etc. with the student, alongside intentional discussions about faith.
