Students are always encouraged to find a way to serve here at our church. Whether it’s ushering on Sundays, volunteering in the nursery, or helping out at Vacation Bible School during the summer, students are capable to serve!

Capital Service Days

Capital Service Days are recurring day-trips for students to serve with Capital Pres Family’s local mission partners. Our hope is for students to be a part of our greater churchwide effort to build deeper, long-standing relationships with our mission partners and provide lasting impact for our neighbors in need in the DC metro area.

Each summer we travel to Scotland and Appalachia to share the love of Jesus as we serve our neighbors at home and abroad.

Travel to Scotland to serve alongside our mission partner, Young Life Scotland, by leading day camps and sharing the gospel with the local teens! Applications open on Dec. 1!

West Virginia Family Mission Trip

June 14-21, 2025 | Fairmont, West Virginia

Partner with a church plant in West Virginia to aid their influence and impact on the local community! Through various construction projects, vacation bible schools, and other mercy ministries this is a great opportunity to grow deeper in friendship, form relationships with residents, and learn more about God’s heart for his care and mercy in the world.
