We are transitioning to a new online giving platform called Pushpay. It is our goal to complete this process by March 15, 2025, so we need your help to move your current recurring online giving to the new platform. It’s a simple, two-step process that will take no more than a few minutes.
Here’s how to transition from our current platform in Connect to Pushpay:
Pushpay is our new online transaction merchant (a third-party company that processes credit/debit and ACH payments for organizations) — as well as a software company that provides digital solutions (including online giving management).
Connect is a central place to manage your involvement at McLean Presbyterian Church and Capital Presbyterian Herndon. It’s an opportunity to further our mission of making disciples who make a difference by helping you engage with ministries, service opportunities, and one another.
No, Connect is being enhanced by Pushpay’s giving features. In December 2019, Pushpay aquired the software behind Connect, so we are now integrating their digital giving platform into our Connect portal. McLean Presbyterian Church members will still log into Connect to access our members-only directory and manage their Congregational Nursery Rotation block-out dates.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and ACH (electronic bank draft from your checking or savings account) are all accepted. We encourage ACH donations — this type of gift incurs lower processing fees to the church.
Yes! You will be given an option to add 2.2% to your credit/debit card gift — this helps cover the processing fee incurred by the church.

Absolutely. Your ability to access your 2024 giving statement is unaffected by this transition. Once our migration from our current third-party merchant to Pushpay is complete (our target date is mid–/late March), you will also see all of your Pushpay giving transactions when you log into Connect.
You will need to provide a mobile number (Pushpay will text you a security code in order to complete your transaction — eliminating the need for you to remember a password) and an email address (Pushpay will email a receipt to you after each transaction).
No, you can give without creating an account. However, you’ll want to create a Pushpay account if you wish to edit or cancel your recurring gift schedule.
